EPICENTER AUTHOR DALIBOR ROHAC FEATURED IN POLITICO

Dalibor Rohac, the author of the EPICENTER paper ‘Fast tracking Ukraine – Why granting membership will benefit the EU’, recently shared his insights in an op-ed on POLITICO. Rohac argued that the newly proposed ‘European Political Community’ could serve as an alternative mechanism to the traditional one-size-fits-all enlargement criteria in bringing Ukraine closer to meeting the standards for EU accession.

Dr. Kristian Niemitz’s publication, ‘Left turn ahead: Surveying attitudes of young people towards capitalism and socialism’, was included in an article that examined the rising demand for socialism among young people in Europe.

Brussels Report recently highlighted EPICENTER’s 2021 ‘Raising Barriers’ report in an article exploring how the European Union’s Free Trade Agreements with third-party countries can benefit the economies of the new partners. The article cited the report’s findings that FTAs often have asymmetric advantages and can impact certain producer interests by changing their operational circumstances due to competition from abroad.
