IEM’S NICOLAS MARQUES ON EUROPE1 RADIO DEBATE

Nicolas Marques, Senior Fellow at the EPICENTER member think tank Institut Économique Molinari, participated in a debate on demographic changes and pension reform. During the debate, Marques argued for necessary structural reforms to adapt pension systems to demographic changes. He presented the idea that the end of the baby boom and the decline in fertility necessitate changes to civil servants’ pensions so that they are not financed exclusively by the taxpayer.
