Aaron Gebler
Prometheus European Research Fellow
Aaron Gebler received his PhD in ancient history from the University of Leipzig in December 2022, where he worked as a research assistant from April 2022 to September 2023. Since then, he has been employed as an assistant professor at the Department of Ancient History at the University of Freiburg. He is also doing his PhD in political science at Chemnitz University of Technology on citizen participation in the European Union. His research interests include the development of ancient democracies, the significance of fear for social change and participation processes in modern democracies.
Cindy Dam
EPICENTER Head Intern
Having previously completed the IEA's editorial internship, where she gained a deepened interest in EPICENTER's work and EU affairs, Cindy sought to intern at EPICENTER. Before her internship, she graduated with a BSc from Utrecht University in Economics and Business Economics. Cindy specialises in quantitative macroeconomics, with a particular interest in development policy. During her time at EPICENTER, Cindy wishes to gain a greater understanding of the inner workings of think tanks, the research process, and external communications.
Angelina Castrucci
EPICENTER Intern
Angelina is an enthusiastic History and Politics student at the University of Edinburgh, with a profound interest in European Union institutions and values. Her passion for fostering positive change through policy-making is coupled with a keen focus on deepening EU integration and, particularly on the socio-economic side. In addition to her academic pursuits, Angelina is a dedicated member of a think tank where she collaborates with peers on projects aimed at analysing and proposing innovative solutions to contemporary challenges.
Mehmet Yusuf Temur

Mehmet is a second-year Politics undergraduate student at the King’s College London. At university he is involved in think tanks and diplomatic conferences, and during his studies interned at an embassy. He is interested in organisation of electoral campaigns and environmental matters in particular. He speaks English, Turkish, Spanish and French, and learning German.
Constance de Laitre
EPICENTER Intern
Constance is finishing a Master's degree in International Relations at King's College London where she studied Law and Practices of the United Nations, Diplomacy and Foreign policy. Before that, she graduated with a Bachelor of Law and Economics followed by a Master’s in development policy in Paris and Madrid. She also obtained a diploma in CSR. After internships in a law firm, companies, and at UNICEF, she is now focusing on EU affairs. Constance wishes to learn more about the process of a think-tank, especially the research process. She speaks French, English and Spanish.
