Does liberalisation lead to more precariousness? EPICENTER is participating in a unique debate in the European Parliament powered by two leading independent centres for research.

The European Parliament published a report which maps the recent history of privatisation and examines the risk of precarious work in privatised utilities. The main goal of this study is to highlight the relationship between privatisation and employment losses. EPICENTER reacted in in a briefing that addressed the benefits of privatisation and outlines some of the counter arguments.

As a result, the European Parliament will organise a debate between the two think tanks, hosted by Amjad Bashir MEP and Stelios Kouloglou MEP.
